Uniting Perverts

Pervert Pictures is a Leeds-based film club screening provocative films on a semi-monthly basis. It began as a way for controversial films to be taken out of their sensationalized context and into an open-minded and inclusive space for discussion and appreciation. Screenings begin with a short introduction that aims to contextualize the film and pose questions for a contemporary audience.

Perversion means different things to different people but we intend the films to be united by their ability to examine taboos and challenge our moral sensibilities. Through these gatherings we aim to create a non-sexual space to both celebrate and scrutinize perversion in all it's forms without shame or prejudice.
